iPhone hidden features/functions you may not know!

According to research, 8.6 million people in Australia use the iPhone in 2018. I expect that in 2020, more than 8.6 million people probably have the iPhone and most of them tend to use the smartphone for calls, texts, photos etc. However, there is a wide range of hidden functions which people do not use it. So today, I am going to teach you some useful tips for you. 

***Before I start, I am using iPhone XR 

First of all, do you know that you can find the word that you are looking for on the website? 

Let me show you how to do it! 

Step 1: I just researched the word 'Australia' and go into any website for the test.

 

Step 2: Type in any word you want to find on the top of the page! then if you check the bottom, you will see the Find "australia"  on this page. And press it. 

Step 3: Now, you can see the 'Australia' is highlighted on the website. It's basically showing you how many the same words are there and it is easy to find it by highlighting the words. In this case, it has 10 'Australia' words. 

The next cool hidden function is that do you know that you can take photos while shooting video? 

I believe that many people don't know about this and some times when you are shooting video, you want to take photos. Right? well, the iPhone can do this! Let's have a look at it. 

When you start to shoot the video, you are going to find the white circle on the left bottom. If you press this while shooting video, you can take photos. 

 

Go into the photos and you will see the saved photos and video. This is really awesome:) 

The last one is that you can save the short cut of words or sentences 

To be honest, sometimes I am lazy to typing in sentences that I use a lot when I send message to friends, family, or boss etc. If you save the short cut, you are able to write down in 1 second! That makes your life easier:) Let's see how to do it. 

To do this: go into Setting -> General -> Keyboard -> Taxt Replacement 

Then, you will see this one. 

  

After that, you should press the + button on the top right side and you are going to see the 'Phrase & Shortcut' Then, you can type in whatever you want! Let me show you an example. 

 

As an example, I put the ' I am the best' and saved it. Now, every time you type in shortcut which is Bt, you are going to see the full sentence on the top of the keyboard. check below.
